AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
We offer a range of after school activites including boy scouts, girl scouts, art, mini art club, needlecraft, kumon math , French drama, ballet, chess, technology and digital story telling. Students also enjoy participating in many sports including minisports , swimming, track and field, basketball, floor hockey, judo and tennis.
A late bus is available for student participating in after school activities. Please ensure that your child has a healthy snack and a bottle of water. For more information contact Mrs C. Boswell in the school office.

Swimming is available for first and second graders. Students must bring a towel, swim suit and swim cap to school in a plastic bag. Boys need to wear racing swim suits (e.g. speedos); swimming trunks and board shorts are not allowed. Girls should wear a one piece suit. Please ensure that your child has snack. The swimming pool will provide instructors and the students will be accompanied by a teacher and parent volunteer. If any parent would like to volunteer to accompany the students please contact Mrs. C. Boswell. Students wil be transported to and from the pool by bus. Children not taking the late bus may be picked up at 4.50pm at school.

This activity is open to students from grades 1 to 2 and offers a variety of sports, activities and games with an emphasis on fair and cooperative play and sportsmanship.

This activity is open to students in Kindergarten. Students will discover art through different mediums such as clay, salt dough, water colours, inks, using natural resources and explore basic techniques through short projects. There will be an end of term party in the classroom and an art show in the Art Room in May.

The Art Club is open to students from grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 and offers art activities based upon students interests: mostly clay building, paper maché, mosaics... The 90 minute session allows more in depth development of art projects.
