NOTRE DAME AND LOUVRE 2007
Living in Paris presents wonderful learning opportunities for Marymount students. Teachers do everything they can to utilize the richness that surrounds us.
Grade 7 students visit Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre Museum. They study Medieval history in both Religion and Social Studies and were able to see, first hand, numerous items dating back to these times. They explore the Gothic architecture of Notre Dame Cathedral as well as the many sculptures, artifacts and art work of the Louvre Museum.
It was a rich learning experience thoroughly enjoyed by students and teachers.
