FATHER GAILHAC IN BÉZIERS
The story of our very special school began in 1846 when Father Jean Gailhac founded an order of Sisters in Béziers in the south of France. The objective, considered progressive at that time, was the education of young women. Schools were soon opened in Portugal, England, Ireland and the United States. When Marymont College in Tarrytown, New York was opened in 1908 the founder's new vision was to create an education with an international perspective, and study abroad centers were established in London, Paris and Rome.
PARIS
Our school in Paris opened on 30th September 1923. Throughout its history the school has responded to the evolving needs of each decade, and we continue to be in the forefront of education, preparing our students to meet the new challenges of the 21st century. Today we offer a coeducational American curriculum starting at the age of 3 in our EYP class continuing through the 8th grade.
