Marymount ParentPlus Portal
Marymount International School, Paris provides an online portal, the ParentPlus Portal, which enables our administrators and teachers to instantly share data and engage with parents in a secure environment. This portal will be your ‘go to’ place for all information concerning your child’s learning experience at Marymount and contains important communications from the school and your child’s teachers.
School supplies and textbooks are provided by the school, however, all students should bring a pencil case, and back pack with them. Pre-Kindergarten students should also bring a change of clothes and a plastic water cup with their name printed on it.
School Snacks and Packed Lunches
Parents are responsible for preparing a nutritious snack for their children. Students not enrolled in the hot lunch program should also bring a packed lunch to be eaten with their peers during lunch break. Students that are staying for an after-school activity will also need a second snack to have at the end of the school day, before their activity (3:15pm).
Marymount actively promotes healthy eating, so snacks including candies, chocolate, or other overly sweet or inappropriate ingredients will be sent home. Due to the serious nature of nut allergies, snacks or meals including nuts are not allowed on campus.
Examples of healthy snacks: chopped vegetables, fruit, cheese, ricecakes, crackers, etc. If you have any questions about our healthy eating policy, please contact the School Nurse at email@example.com.
Middle School Students 1:1 Laptop Program
Marymount is proud to offer a 1:1 laptop program in Middle School. Each Middle School student will receive a laptop for use both in school and at home, allowing us to use the latest technology as the means both of delivering instruction and helping our students grow to use the resources at their disposal responsibly. Laptops and security information will be delivered at the beginning of the school year along with an Acceptable Use Policy.
