Mind Body Health
The overarching goal of the Mind Body Health class is to provide students with important and relevant information on topics that affect their daily lives and long-term perspectives. The Mind Body Health curriculum encompasses the five aspects of health: emotional, environmental, spiritual, intellectual, and physical health. In this light, students have studied topics ranging from the physical and mental importance of sleep, to the difference between taking risks versus making impulses. Interdisciplinary approaches to the health curriculum will be achieved through working with Science, English, and Social Studies classes.
