Within the context of our guiding statements our curriculum is a standards-based one. Our Standards are from Project AERO (American Education Reaches Out) and are applicable for our core subjects of Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Studies. Our Science program is based on the NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards.) For our Specialists classes - Music, Art, Religion, Physical Education, and French - we have developed our own Standard-based frameworks in line with the mission and philosophy of our school.
All of the updated units of study are documented in our Atlas Rubicon database and are written, revised, and edited in collaboration with Teachers, Subject Area Coordinators, and Team Leaders. These curriculum maps provide a blueprint of your child's year of learning, and they give a overview of how our teaching and learning aligns with international educational standards and is an expression of our school's mission and vision.
