Guest speakers taught them about film-making (Mr. James Berry) and how to tailor presentations according to the target audience (Mrs. Sarah Thomas). Recently Marymount faculty and staff organized our annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast to show our thanks to our wonderful parent volunteers for their dedication. The Marymount Monumental Cardboard Challenge held on February 17th, 2018 was a remarkable display of cardboard creativity. Over 100 pieces of warm winter clothing have been collected for the homeless as part of the Student Implementation Committee's Winter Clothing Drive. Marymount was excited to welcome our fellow RSHM network schools in September 2017 for the RSHM Student Leadership Retreat 2017. Marymount welcomed Sr. Michaeline O'Dwyer, RSHM, as Interim Head of School. Sr. Michaeline is newly arrived in Paris and has assumed duties to ensure a smooth transition to our new school year. She will be based in Paris full time while performing this role. During this time, the Board of Trustees will conduct a thorough search for a permanent Head of School. We were delighted to welcome Sr. Florence Muuka, the Superior of Zimbabwe and Zambia Region to Marymount. This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect with the RSHM Zimbabwe Mission and hear about where all of our efforts go! Parents and teachers also had the opportunity to sit and speak with Sr. Florence, and we are appreciative of everyone who came to speak to Sister – she was overjoyed to meet the people who help her mission in Zambia and Zimbabwe so much!
