Guidance Counseling

Marymount’s Guidance Counseling supports the Marymount vision that "all may have life" by providing support for each student in all aspects of their lives. We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, and are nurtured not only academically, but also socially and emotionally.

Marymount's Guidance Counselor, Ms. Dunleavy, works closely with the faculty and School Principal to ensure that each student is offered individual and confidential support, and endeavors to create an environment in which all of our students will thrive. Our Guidance Counselor is available for consultations with any student seeking or requiring personal or guidance counselling. Our students are highly encouraged to participate in initiatives supported by the Guidance Counselor such as the "Peace-Keepers" group and the "Think Pink" Anti-Bullying Campaign.
